PUERTO MALDONADO - LODGE - ISLAND MONKEYS
Arrival to the Capital of Biodiversity of Peru. Puerto Maldonado - reception at the airport. Our tour starts with a tour of the city on our bus. Then we will go to Capitanía port to embark on the boat through the Madre de Dios River, during the trip we will immerse ourselves in a natural environment where we will observe the ronsoco, caimans, turtles, herons, cormorants and other species of animals. Arrival at Ecoamazonia Lodge, an exquisite welcome drink, installation in our bungalows and lunch. In the afternoon accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit the first and only place in the heart of the Madre de Dios River: Isla de los Monos, 5 minutes away from the hostel. During the hike we will observe extraordinary landscapes with a luxuriant flora, which shelters inside a variety of species of monkeys in their natural habitat; Such as maquisapas, capuchins, little monkeys, little puffins, puffins, preserves, as well as other species such as coati, lazy bears, among others, and a great variety of birds. We will complete the trip around the island enjoying the sunset being the most impressive sunset in the jungle. Then we will return to the lodge and complete the day with a nice dinner.
COCHA LOST:
After breakfast, we will begin an adventure through the virgin jungle, accompanied by a local guide; We will make internment walks to arrive at the Lost Cocha, which constitutes an ecosystem of refuge and feeding of an immense variety of animals. There is the possibility of observing otters, alligators, turtles, sachavacas, birds of multicolored plumage, the majestic jaguar and variety of fish. This area is unique and typical of the Ecoamazonia Reserve, because it is still intact, with huge marshes and various aguajales. Then we will arrive at the extraordinary AMAZON MIRADOR from where you will be able to appreciate the magical jungle, as well as take a pleasant canoe ride around the Lake. Return to the hostel. Lunch. In the afternoon we offer as an optional alternative in our tour, a visit to the botanical garden. If you want a relaxing enjoy the Amazonian Pool. Return and dinner.
LODGE - PUERTO MALDONADO - AIRPORT.
After breakfast, coordinating the flight time and / or bus we will transfer in our motorized boat to Puerto Maldonado, and from there to the airport and / or bus terminal.
