Tour Plan
CUSCO - KM 82 - LLACTAPATA - HUAYLLABAMBA.
We will pick you up at your hotel from 06.00am on our transport. Then we will head to Piskacuchu, a community located at kilometer 82 of the Cuzco-Machu Picchu railway. From this point we will start our trek with a gentle ascent passing through very pleasant places full of flora fauna and history. After 3 hours of walking we will arrive at the archaeological center of Willkaraccay and Llactapata where we will have a brief explanation. Then we will descend for 30 minutes until the point of lunch Tarayoc. From here the road is adorned with native flowers, lichens and bromeliads, growing in rocks along the left side, majestic views of the mountains and the two valleys. The walking times are always approximate, depends on the weather conditions. After lunch, 3-4 more hours, we will arrive at the small town of Huayllabamba. Where we will have our dinner and overnight our first night.

HUAYLLABAMBA - LLULLUCHAPAMPA - WARMIWAÑUSCA - PACAYMAYU.
Today is the day in which we will have our biggest challenge, the biggest step to 4,200 meters snm, (13,776 feet high). After a delicious breakfast, around 07:00 am, we will start our trek towards the Ayapata Valley. For about 1 hour to reach this sector known for a microclimate of high Andean valley, Then we will have a gradual rise between forests and shrubs (with small Qeuñas and Chachacomos trees) with spectacular views all the way to Llulluchapampa lunch place. Then we will ascend uphill for 2 more hours towards the Warmiwañusca Pass (The passage of the dead woman). 4,200 meters / 13,776 feet above sea level, all of us will take a short break before beginning our descent to the Pacaymayu Valley for approximately 2-3 hours all down to get to our camp for tonight. This site has an incredible view of mountains, snowy is possible to have altitude sickness. Immediately after the pass we descend to the Pacaymayu valley (3,500 m / 11,480 ft) where we will camp with spectacular views of the snowy peaks.

RUNKURAKAY- SAYAQMARKA- CHAKICOCHA- AOBAMBA- PHUYUPATAMARKA- INTIPATA- WIÑAYWAYNA.
After an appetizing breakfast, around 06:30 am, we will start our trek from Pacaymayu camp by a well preserved paved road for approximately 1 hour to reach the first archaeological site of Runcuracay, a circular structure that has rectangular external buildings, It is here where the chaskis rested and were supplied with food and other materials. Here there is a guard post, a lookout, and a ritual building, its buildings look to the east. Then we will continue along a path of stairs for 1 hour more observing 2 small lagoons on the way to the second step the Abra de Runcuracay (3,950 m / 12,956 ft), Here we will have exceptional views of snow-capped mountains. From here the walk starts downhill. After descending through a small tunnel for 1 hour we will arrive at the Inca town of Sayacmarca (3,600 m / 11,808 ft). After a brief explanation we will continue descending to Chakicocha (3,500 m / 11,480 ft), where we will have lunch we will also be able to make use of the sanitary services. After lunch the tour becomes beauty the road is made of well paved granite stone, Still in good condition and condition even after many centuries. We will pass through two short natural tunnels in the mountains until we reach Phuyupatamarca (The Cloud People). (3,600 m / 11,808 ft) After visiting this site, we will descend about 2,000 stone steps to the Intipata complex (2,850 m / 9,319 ft). The walking time will be 4 hours. At around 5 pm, we will arrive at Our camping site at Wiñaywayna (2,700 m / 8,856 ft). Place where our third and last camp will be.

WIÑAYWAYNA- INTUPINKU - MACHUPICCHU -CUSCO.
We will wake up very early around 04:00 am then we will head to the control of Wiñaywayna opening the passage at 05.30am. This last walk will take 1 hour to Inti Punku (the Sun Gate), (2,700 m / 8,856 ft), which overlooks Machupicchu where we will appreciate the first rays of sun on this Inca sanctuary. Then we will descend for 50 minutes until we reach the same citadel , Where we will have a full guided tour of Machupicchu for 2 to 3 hours by important places such as (Guardian House, Main Square, Temple of the Three Windows, Main Temple, Intiwatana, Temple of the Condor, Temple of the Sun, Water Fountains .). Then you will have free time to independently explore Machupicchu. After visiting Machupicchu We will take the bus that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will take our train back to Ollantaytambo for 1 hour and 45 minutes approximately. In Ollantaytambo our staff will be waiting for you with our transportation to return to Cusco.
